Retro-inspired adventure Shikon-X releases today

Publisher Treasure Boy and developer Kindermann Corp. are releasing Shikon-X today on Steam and Switch priced at £10.29. A hard-to-describe – let alone categorize – game in that, as a story-rich drama, intergalactic point-and-click adventure without any actual pointing or clicking, sort of open-ended experience – it offers a lot from that ‘golden age’ – a real blast from the past!

Set out on an epic quest to unravel the mysteries behind the war against humanity. Even when pitted against a cosmic threat, there’s always time for a bit of pinball.

  • Streamlined ‘point-and-click’ experience without the pointing and clicking
  • Gameplay designed with approachability in mind
  • Intergalactic adventure inspired by 80s and 90s anime (the best kind!)
  • Arcade mini-games that help drive the narrative forward
