Red Dead looking for redemption by finally arriving on PC

Released in 2010, Rockstar’s excellent open-world cowboy romp Red Dead Redemption was only released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It has since been ported to Switch and now finally arrives on PC. The new release is heading to PC storefronts on 29th October 2024 and will include the much-loved add-on Undead Nightmare.

The new port will have PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide, HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
