More great news for the indie NES scene as Former Dawn, a new RPG from Something Nerdy Studios, is getting ready to launch a crowdfunding campaign. The game is being developed to work on NES with a PC release also in the works. Former Dawn is quite early in development but from what we’ve seen so far it’s looking very impressive considering the hardware.

The studio has announced the Kickstarter campaign with anyone interested advised to sign up for notifications for when it goes live. On the Something Nerdy Studios Twitter X account, there was also news that playtesters were needed, so those who wish to get involved in the development should contact the team. This does look like an exciting project and we’ll be sure to bring more news as it develops.
