Premium video game book publisher Lost In Cult has announced its latest project that charts the making of Outer Wilds, the critically acclaimed 2019 adventure title from Mobius Digital. The game was met with overwhelming success and praise when it was first released and now fans have the chance to dive deeper into its developments with Outer Wilds: Design Works.

As with most of Lost In Cult’s projects, the book is being crowdfunded and has already obliterated its £30,000 target and reached £150,000 which shows just how much fans of this wonderful game care about it. Pre-orders are still open, so those interested can still grab a copy with an expected release in mid-2025.

There are two versions of the book to buy, the Standard or Deluxe. The latter includes artcards signed by members of the development team as well as a slipcase, posters and other goodies. Both editions contain over 250 pages packed with design documents and interviews with the development team. The pre-orders are open until 2nd Novemner 2024.
