No doubt buoyed by the interest surrounding  Retro Games Ltd.’s recently revealed The Spectrum plug & play console, on which we previously reported, Bitmap Books have revealed that they are to reprint their lush Speccy tome, inclair ZX Spectrum: a visual compendium.

The hardback book runs to 304 pages, and measures 170mm × 230mm. In addition to the hardback physical copy, a PDF of the book will also be included. It includes contributions from many well-known gaming industry personalities such as The Oliver Twins, Dave Perry and Ste Pickford.

The book will be priced at £29.99 with the premium retro publisher also confirming the reprints should be ready to order by 11th November 2024. Although there was no mention of how many copies would be avaliable, we’re sure there will be plenty to go around. The games featured in the book include 11-a-side Soccer, 3D Deathchase, Ant Attack, Atic Atac, Barbarian, Batman, Football Manager, Gauntlet III, Head Over Heels, The Hobbit, Horace Goes Skiing, Jet Pac, Jet Set Willy, Knight Lore, Last Ninja 2, Lemmings, The Lords of Midnight, Manic Miner, Match Day, Midnight Resistance, and Uridium.
