This year’s Tokyo Games Show will run for two days, beginning this Thursday (26th September 2024). As much as we’d love to be there in person, the Retro Faith budget doesn’t quite stretch to international travel (yet).
But speaking of stretching budgets, Capcom are running a Steam sale to tie into this year’s Tokyo Games Show, nd there are some games which will appeal to fans of retro gaming and/or long-running franchises with hefty discounts in the sale.
Mega Man titles on offer include 66% off the Mega Man Cyber World Pack, which includes Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 2, and MEGA MAN X DiVE Offline. The bundle usually costs £90.95, but is just £30.92 in the sale. Alternatively, you can save on each individual title, but buying the bundle offers the biggest saving.
If Street Fighting is more your jam, then you can save 50% on Street Fighter 6, making it £24.99, or save 50% off Street Fighter V: Championship Edition plus Season 5 Premium Pass, making it £16.49. Or there’s a massive 87% knocked off Street Fighter IV Ultra making it a measly £2.98. Or you could go even more retro and save 37% on Street Fighter Alpha 3, making it just £1.07, or save 37% on Super Street Fighter II, making it £1.07.
The last two titles mentioned above are also included in the Capcom Arcade Stadium 2 Complete Pack, which has 70% off, making it £31.53.
Elsewhere in the sale, you can enjoy savings on Duck Tales Remastered, the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle, which we’ve previously reviewed, Resident Evil games, and Devil May Cry games.
The Capcom Tokyo Games Show Steam Sale is on now and ends on Sunday 29th September.
