3rd December this year will mark 30 years since Sony launched the PlayStation, a console that changed gaming forever, despite famously being developed from an aborted SNES CD-ROM add-on. As part of their celebrations of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary, on the PlayStation blog Sony have announced a range of products employing the design and colours of that original PlayStation console.
The products in the range include a PS5 Pro bundle and a selection of standalone products. They are as follows:
PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition BundIe
This bundle includes the limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7, and matching limited edition accessories including a DualSense wireless controller, a DualSense Edge wireless controller, a DualSense Charging Station, and a Console Cover for a disc drive (disc drive sold separately).
It also includes a Vertical Stand and the following special collector’s Items:
Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing
Four PlayStation Shapes cable ties
PlayStation sticker
Limited Edition PlayStation Poster (1 of 30 possible designs)
PlayStation Paperclip
