New magazine celebrating gaming generations seeks crowdfunding

As writers for printed magazines ourselves, we love to celebrate any new project that keeps our physical gaming media alive. Generations is a new magazine focusing on “how gaming’s past shaped our futures.” It’s headed up by Andrew Dickinsen and Paul Murphy, who’ve been involved in printed magazines and books for years.

Other writers contributing to the magazine have been confirmed and its an exciting mix of talent including Mike Diver, Lewis Packwood and many others. It will be a quartly publication with “132-pages of exceptional writing, beautiful illustrations, fantastic photography, and bespoke artwork, covering video game topics generation to generation.”

You can currently support the project by heading over to Kickstarter where there are numerous options from buying just a magazine or building a special pack with extras. The plan is to get the first issue out in November with softcover and hardcover editions avaliable.
