Retro developer Matt Hughson, best known for the brilliant Witch n’ Wiz released in 2021, has a new NES platformer heading to Steam. Matt has been developing Super Sunny World over the last year or so and says his inspirations are the original Super Mario titles on the NES. The game is a homage to those simpler times and Matt also has plans to release it to physical NES carts, just like his other NES and GB games, in the future.

Super Sunny World looks brilliant from what we’ve seen so far and if it’s like any of Matt’s previous games will have that same quality you would expect from a NES game released back in the day.
