We love our classic arcade titles here at Retro faith and they don’t get much more classic than Breakout, Atari’s 1976 blockbusting extravaganza. With that in mind, it gives us great pleasure to hear about a new homage to Bushnell and Wozniak’s hit. Chico’s Rebound has been announced by developer Daikon Games.

Chico’s Rebound is a spin-off to Chico’s other adventure, Chico and the Magic Orchards DX. Not only does the game feature the iconic Breakout gameplay but it also incorporates puzzle and adventure elements. Daikon Games has said the game is still in early development but it’s expected to release sometime in 2025.
