Aero the Acro-bat 2 swooping to modern consoles next month

We recently reviewed Aero the Acro-Bat and like a bat out of hell, its sequel is swooping its way to modern consoles on 6th September 2024. The game was first released for Mega Drive and SNES back in 1994 and will now be looking to entertain a new audience when it arrives on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch thanks to retro publishers Rataliaka Games and LLC Shinyuden.

The game takes off from where the first finished with Aero beating the mad  Edgar Ektor. However, unbeknownst to Aero, the evil villain created a magic box that transports him to a magical world. Aero must now glide and divebomb his way through eight worlds and once again take Edgar down.

As with the first release to modern platforms, Aero the Acro-bat 2 will include new features such as rewind and save states in the emulator. It also includes screen filters and cheat menus to help out in those tricky spots. We hope to bring you a full review as soon as we can.
