Atari has a bunch of new games up for pre-order

Atari has been on a bit of a roll recently, last year’s release of the Atari 2600+ was followed up with TheAtari 400 earlier this year. We recently had the news of the Atari 7800+ and now we#ve a new clutch of games to experience.

We love seeing Atari get back to its best and are looking forward to some new games after the barrage of hardware recently. First up, is a collection of four games designed to work with all original Atari consoles as well as the new ‘+’ models. Real Sports Collection, N-Network Collection, Epyx Games Collection, and Caverns of Mars are all up for pre-order with an expected release this winter.

The next six games are all new titles from retro developer Robert DeCrescenzo, a talented member of the Atari homebrew developer community. He has programmed Asteroids Deluxe, Bounty Bob Strikes Back, Bentley Bear’s Crystal Quest, Space Duel, Frenzy and Berzerk. All these titles are available for pre-order on the Atari website with an expected release this winter.
