Double Dragon Revive is set for release in 2025 on consoles and PC. Developer Arc Systems has unveiled its new website for the game as well as a bunch of new info on what we can expect. The official website introduces the game’s story as well as the stellar team of sound creators responsible for the game’s background music. We can also see some blacked-out sections of the website and assume Arc Systems is going to be drip-feeding info over the next few months.
The story synopsis is that the game is set 15 years after a nuclear war and humanity is now split into tiny colonies. One of these colonies is run by the Shadow Warriors who keep control by playing the rich and poor off against each other. It’s up to the Lee brothers to take down the gang and clean the streets of villains…all sounds a bit familiar, doesn’t it?
The update also has quotes from the sound team working on the game with the pick of the bunch being James Landino. “As someone who has both been a fan of the Double Dragon series and Arc System Works projects, I’m beyond excited to be involved in the music for this game! Thank you to the development team for bringing me on board this exciting soundtrack!”
