It just feels like yesterday the Retro Faith team were enjoying the excellent event that was Zzap! Live 2024…well it was the weekend just gone…but time doesn’t stand still for our friends at Fusion Retro Books as they’ve just announced a bunch of details for this year’s Crash Live 2024.
As with Zzap! Live events, we know Crash Live will have a main stage featuring Speccy legends discussing all things Sinclair, hundreds of Spectrums, consoles and cabs to play on. There will be the usual raffle raising funds for charity and a host of special guests, vendors and exhibits to enjoy.
The date has been set for 23rd November 2024 and will be held at the usual Holiday Inn in Kenilworth, UK. Tickets can be purchased from today and the 500 capacity will sell out quickly so we advise you to get it sorted early to avoid disappointment. Oh, Commodore fans are allowed to attend but Fusion Retro Books will take no responsibility for playground fights.
We don’t have any confirmation on how long the event will run, but considering our own Retro Faith will most likely sort the stage shenanigans, she knows it will go on into the late evening. So, those looking to stay overnight will want to get the hotel booked early as it gets fully booked rather quickly.
There is also confirmation of some of the guests who will be sharing their stories on making games for the Speccy. The list, which will only get bigger, consists of Mike Richardson, Bob Hamilton, Sandy White, Mike Dailly, Clive Townsend, The Oliver Twins, Malcolm Evans, and Simon Butler.
