We may be barking up the wrong tree or putting ourselves in the doghouse, but Barkour, a new adventure game from Polish developer VARSAV Game Studio, looks like a real doggy treat. This canine tale is due for release on Steam and consoles in 2025 and has a new trailer that gives us a taste of what to expect.

Barkour, a four-legged special agent, uses his doggy bag of tricks and gadgets to explore locations and solve an evil mystery. How you tackle each task is up to you as the game includes a mix of stealth, action and platforming gameplay as well as secrets to be sniffed out during missions.

From the trailer, we can see that Barker is a good boy who has amazing acrobatic skills and lots of weapons and tools to help take down villains and traverse the levels. Well, Barkour has pricked our ears and we’ll endeavour to take it for a walk when he gets let off the leash.
