Elements Destiny, a J-RPG from developer ShrooMoon UG, has been in in the works for seven years but we now have a new trailer showcasing some of the gameplay mechanics. The video unveils the variety of landscapes to discover, the turn-based combat system, overworld abilities and cheerful characters.

The retro-inspired game takes inspiration from all the great 16-bit J-RPG titles of old and follows the traditional story of a young hero. Erika is on a mission to awaken her elemental powers and take down the evil shadow crusade.

Erika is joined by others who also want to follow the path to enlightenment. These connections open up unique possibilities in battle but also help you overcome various obstacles along the way. Defeat terrifying monsters, treacherous adversaries and sometimes Erika’s fears.
