Being based in the UK, PAX West’s Seattle location is a little too far away from us to travel to, but we’re always on the lookout for new indie games, so we were intrigued to learn that indie publisher indie.io will be launching 10 new games at the event, which runs from 30th August 2024 to 2nd September 2024.

Indie.io will be showcasing the following 10 games…

G.I. Joe – Wrath of Cobra
In this first-ever Hasbro Retro Arcade experience from Maple Powered Games, players will dive into the G.I. Joe universe, choosing from a roster of heroes including Duke, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and Roadblock, to battle Cobra’s forces across action-packed levels. The game will combine hand-drawn pixel art with classic cartoon cutscenes.

Moon Mystery
Moon Mystery, by cosmoscouts, is a sci-fi FPS that aims to combine action-packed gameplay with a compelling story.

Debtors’ Club
Debtors’ Club is a narrative-driven resource management game debuting on Steam on 26th August. Developed by mecagames, the game puts players in the role of a tax collector in a corrupt city hall. Persuade, intimidate, dig up incriminating information, and even send goons to ransack debtors—all to meet daily quotas and keep the city’s treasury afloat.

Pinball Spire
Pinball Spire is a “pinballvania” adventure that blends pinball mechanics with Metroidvania exploration.

SCP: Fragmented Minds
The latest SCP game promises a mix of action and survival horror.

The Hungry Fly
The Hungry Fly is an adventure exploration game with interactive storytelling, multiple endings, and a haunting, existential atmosphere.

Shrine’s Legacy
