Darkest Dungeon II, the 2023 turn-based RPG from Red Hook Studios, is getting a physical release to Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game was rated highly on release and this promted publisher Skybound Games to partner up with Red Hook Studios for the physical release.

The physical edition comes with a download code for the soundtrack and a card model of a stagecoach from the game. It is due for to be in the collector’s hands on 22nd October 2024 and is available from the usual game retailers.

“We first connected with Red Hook Studios last year to discuss bringing the physical console versions of Darkest Dungeon II to market,” said Ian Howe, Managing Partner at Skybound Games. “We shared a common vision of building upon the legacy of the first game, through an intricate, highly collectible edition that fans of the game would enjoy. We hope players love these boxes as much as we have loved designing them.”
