Antstream has been on a roll recently, first with the launch on Apple’s iOS and now confirmation that the popular retro streaming service will be heading to PlayStation soon. The welcome announcement came during Antstream Arcade’s latest Connect presentation which is now live on YouTube.
Eager PlayStation gamers can sign up for the wishlist now while we wait for confirmation of the launch date. Getting the service on PlayStation is a real big step and Antstream will be hoping that the release on Sony’s platform will wield the same success as the launch on Xbox last year.
It isn’t just the news of a new platform to play Antstream on either, during the show it was revealed that Pico-8 developers can now submit their games to be included on the Antstream service. The first Pico-8 games to be released will be Puzzles of the Paladin and Manbomber which are both coming soon.
There was also some news on the design that will have additional competitive features, a modern slick interface, game rewards, new ways to play and a fully customised player experience, along with a little more information on when players will likely be able to see the new Antstream although no date has been set.
