Red Art Games have announced a a new compilation of three classic Famicom games by the recently-reactivated Japanese games developers Sunsoft. The three games are receiving an English translation and Western release for the very first time.

The collection is titled ‘Sunsoft is Back! Retro Game Selection’, and will be published by Red Art Games. The three Famicom games it collects are: The Wing of Madoola (1986), Firework Thrower Kantaro’s 53 Stations of the Tokaido (1986), and Ripple Island (1988).

Features of the compilation include:
English localisation
Rewind
CRT Filter
Multiple aspect ratios and borders
Gallery Mode showcasing art and promotional material
3D models of the original game cartridges.

Sunsoft is Back! Retro Game Selection will be released digitally for Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 6th September 2024.

Red Art Games are also releasing two physical editions of the compilation for PlayStation 5, with pre-orders open now for both the Deluxe and Standard Editions.
The physical PlayStation 5 editions are due for release on 4th October 2024.
