Aero the Acro-Bat, a 1993 platformer released on the Mega Drive and SNES, is being released on 2nd August 2024 to Xbox, Switch and PlayStation. While that news is great to hear, publishers Ratalaika Games and LLC Shinyuden have also revealed that the rest of the series will also be getting the modern treatment.
The series has three more entries that will be released over the next few months. Aero the Acro-Bat 2 is heading to consoles on 6th September 2024, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel on 4th October 2024, and Aero the Acro-Bat: Rascal Rival Revenge on 1st November 2024. It marks the first time the entire series will be available on modern platforms digitally.
We already know that Aero the Acro-Bat’s release to modern consoles will include the English and Japanese versions as well as save states and rewind functions. We can assume that the other three games in the series will also include these features but we will keep you up to date with details as we get them.
