The latest home computer collection to be announced for Evercade is The Bitmap Brothers Collection 2. The collection will feature six games, five of which are for the Amiga. The Bitmap Brothers Collection will be available for pre-order from 30th August 2024, with an expected release date sometime in September.

The full lineup of games is Cadaver, Cadaver: the Payoff, Gods, Magic Pockets, The Chaos Engine 2, and Z.

The Bitmap Brothers Collection 1 was released for Evercade back in 2021, and comprising of console games developed by the Bitmap Brothers. This second volume of games from the legendary British developers is primarily composed of Amiga games, with the cart also boasting officially licenced Amiga emulation.

In regards to Z, it was released for both PlayStation and Sega Saturn, so it conceivably be either version, but given how difficult Saturn emulation can be, our money’s on it being the PlayStation version.

Ever since Blaze Entertainment launched their Evercade retro consoles, there have been requests for collections of home computer games on the system. The subsequent collections of home computer games for Evercade that followed have, indeed, proved popular, so we expect good things from this latest cart.
