Iron Meat is an upcoming run ‘n’ gun title from developer Retroware due for release on 26th September 2024. The game takes inspiration from classics of the genre, especially Contra. Strictly Limited Games has teamed up with the developers to offer a physical version for Switch and PS5. The physical versions will be up for pre-order at a later date.

Iron Meat is a fast-paced, run-and-gun shooter that immerses players in a world overrun by The Meat. Mixing classic arcade and console mechanics, players will battle against mutated victims and machines, dodge bullet barrages, and crush bosses across nine levels. The Meat features multiphase boss fights as well as two-player couch co-op and plenty of unlockable content.
