It feels like a legend that keeps rolling on as Xeno Crisis, which has already been released on so many consoles, is now also heading to Game Boy Advance. Set for release in the last quarter of 2024, the handheld version will be available as a physical cartridge, which includes a box and manual, or as a ROM download to use with emulators.
Bitmap Bureau, the brilliant developers behind the retro hit, also announced that pre-orders for both versions are now open. Those opting to buy the physical cart can choose between the US, Euro or Japanese versions, each with an authentic Game Boy Advance design from each region. Physical customers will also receive a complimentary ROM download.
Xeno Crisis was first released on Mega Drive back in 2019 following a successful crowdfunding campaign. It has since gone on to be released on many platforms from Neo Geo to Nintendo 64 as well as modern consoles.
